Surin Mali Nil Rice, also known as Nil Surin Rice, is a traditional indigenous rice variety from Surin Province, Thailand. The brown rice grains are naturally dark purple to black in color. Its distinctive characteristics include long, slender grains, a soft and slightly sticky texture when cooked, and a fragrant aroma similar to Thai Jasmine Rice.
