- Phraya Surin Phakdi Monument A monument of honor dedicated to Phraya Surin Phakdi Sri Narong Changwang (Pum), the first governor of Surin. He played a vital role in leading the Kui people and wild elephants to pledge allegiance to the Rattanakosin Kingdom marking the beginning of Surins history in the early Rattanakosin era.
- Wat Burapharam An ancient temple deeply connected to the city of Surin. It is a renowned meditation and Dhamma learning center once home to Luang Pu Dulya Atulo, one of Thailands most revered monks.
